Does anybody else EDC a bali? I traded up for a BM53 and I am loving this blade! I know it's an asymmetrical bali and isn't a good flipper, but I don't really like to do all the tricks and what not. Well that could be because I haven't mastered any yet. Haha! But I am going to do a full review on the 53 here soon, but I wanted to know if anybody else has one, and why they like BM balis.
 
I have a 51 53 and a 42. The 53 is an excellent every day carry I highly recommend if you're in a state where carrying a bali is legal. It's extremely smooth with the bearings and the full flat grind is awesome in a great steel. It's very hard to do some tricks with it since the handles are so light and it's so short. I am by no means a master though. Either way, that's what I have the 51 and 42 for.
 
I just put my 53 back in my pocket. It's a great classic/modern edc balisong.

I love the 53 blade shape as a EDC. Great belly, feel, steel, and cutting power. BM did something right with a D2/G10 bali. I'm not a bali guy and I probably upset the real hardcore bali-song fans, but I am not that guy who likes the past time of flipping. My plain folders and fixed ballads have done me so well than I decided to finally try a Bali. 53, great mix of a fixed/folder/user. That's just my $0.02
