So what do you think edc or fighting knife
Ps first post blade forums is the best!

I prefer 1) avoidance, 2) de-escalation, 3) running and 4) shooting before I get to 5) knife fight, but I hold self-preservation in high regard. If I did have to use a knife, mindset, training and motivation would be more important than the knife. Thats a long way of also saying "I don't know." :) Welcome to Bladeforums!

The Spydie Police would be more utilitarian for those times when you weren't fighting, so I would go with that.

LOL... Very true. I also agree with what you said, avoiding is the best bet. Kind of a ridiculous first post.

You right it was kind of a stupid thing to ask lol. And I totally agree you should always avoid a fight. I was more asking if a knife like the bedlam/police (designed for fighting) would make a good edc. Man I feel like a noob.

But thanks

If your talking about the 860 which I believe you are, that thing is a monster and weights over 7oz.... Not something that would make a good or even marginally good choice. If you want a good solid tactical knife that carries excellent, get a BM 950 Rift.

Rift is a sweet blade but I think I gona go for a sage 2 or paramillitary!
I was thinking (or lack thereof) of the 860 bedlam more for the cool factor all I would do with it is lite cutting
