Hey i just got my benchmade bluestar and here's my take on it...
Quality is what you would expect from any benchmade knife
Size is what dissapointed me i knew what the size of it was before i bought it but i'd only seen it in pictures,I figures it would be the darkstaar but a little smaller well it is but the blade is narrow if you lay it down next to the darkstar it's half the width, which i quess is ok for general cutting and stuff but i kind of wanted a all around kind of knife like the darkstar is i don't know how intimidating it would be if need be.So i guess i might buy a almar sere2000 this summer or somethin but all in all it's a fine knife just a little small for my taste actually it's the exact smae size as the mini darkstar......so there's my 2 penny's.:)

Sorry you are less than thrilled with your knife. If it bothers you that much someone around here will probably trade you something for it that you might like more. As far as it not being intimidating that is not that bad of a thing. The less intimidating the better for a general use knife that other people will see. The only time I would want a really intimidating knife is strictly as a self-defense tool. And to use a knife as an effective self-defense tool requires a good deal of training (which you may well have). So from my POV I think you got a fairly good knife for suiting your needs (not that that makes you feel the same way, lol). So good luck with it and whatever you decide to do in the future.

Well if anyone wants to trade i would be interested i would also throw in some cash too for the right knife,i'm thinking about an emerson cqc-7B.so email me if u want to do some trading.
