BM carry question

Do any of you have pics, recommendations, ideas, etc... for carrying a BM? I am going to take mine into the Yosemite backcountry and am not sure if I will use the standard sheath or not. Do any of you have pics of how you have strapped one onto a backpack, shoulderharnes, etc...?

I put the straps of my Dana Design backpack, with clips, throught the belt loop of the sheath, then tie down the end of the sheat with paracord to another strap. The nice thing with straps with clips, as that the whole sheath is easily removed/put back on the packpack....I just put it on the right side of the pack, and it is easily unsheathed over my shoulder. Hope this makes sense/helps....


Also, I have found that on long backpacking trips (10 - 1000 miles)(App. Trail), it is much more comfortable on my back then on my belt.....
