BM dilemma?

I thought I was dead set on a BM 710HS, but now I think I want a 420 Resistor . Any advice? Any of you guys own one or both of these? How is that Anodized Aluminum on the handle(corrosion, toughness, strength etc..)? I know the G10 scales are good. Thanks

710HS, I have read that some are unhappy with the G10 inserts (outserts?) on the 420. I personally don't care for the square shaped handle. I have the 520 and I love everything about it, except maybe, for the aluminum. I dropped it and put a nice shiny ding in the handle.

OK, just get one ... for now! That gives you time to decide if you want the other also. The 710 is a classic. BM is discontinuing the 705 and the 710 may go, too, so get it while you can The 420 will be around a while longer, or if not, it wasn't a good idea anyway.

The 420 is THICK. The handle is LONG for the handle. I like the blade shape, though

I’d go with the 710, I wasn't impressed with the 420' handle it’s too bulky for me. The 710 is a classic IMO
