BM Griptilian really available in D2?

...or is this a typo: D2 steel griptilian from Cabelas.

I'd love a mini-grip in D2, and want to make sure that I don't feel disappointed when a 440C version arrives instead.

I have the mini-grip in D2 from cabela's - I love it.
I would have liked it with the thumb hole better, but that's just my opinion.

If you don't like the black finish & are willing to pay a little more, get the ritter mini-grip with CPM S30V for $99.95 at:

I ordered two of the Cabela's D2 Grips this morning: one of each size. I already have a minigrip, so this should complete my Grip collection....until I save up enough lunch money for the RitterGrip.....will it ever end!!

i've got a mini-Grip, and it's great, but i wish they'd make the thing with an aluminum handle. that'd be awesome.

Thanks guys! Anyone know if the Cabela's stores actually have them in-house and in stock? I ask as I'll be near one in a couple of weeks.

I already have two Ritter MkI's. Both of them the full-sized models. I loved the first one I bought so much that I had to have a backup unit 'just in case.' Thought about a mini-Ritter, but I need a little more variety besides the same ol' boring S30V.

Yes agony, they actually have them in-house and in stock. I got my mini at their Pa. store. Nice knife.

Would like to know how to feel about the D2 vs S30 after you get your D2.
I'm thinking Ritter or Para Military next.

I got to see Julian's D2 mini last Sunday at our NJKCA meeting. For a small knife in a big hand, it felt good. I still like the feel of a full-size Griptilian better, though.

There are no bad Griptilians!

don't i know it! i'm still fighting off the urge to buy a 940 on a whim (but i better not!). i just really want the Grip-series specifically in alum, as i love the size and shape of the thing.

Meant to say this in the original post. I have a Cabelas credit card that I charge everything to--and then pay it off at the end of the month. The card builds up free Cabelas Points that you can use to order stuff from them. I had saved until I had better'n coupla hunnert bucks and decided to get the Grips and a few other things. Nice way to add to the collection every so often. Bass Pro has a similar deal.

Plain edge with OD grip. Wish they offered it without the coating.
