BM HD 13100 Hardtail Arrived Today!

After some searching I found a shop that still had the HD 13100 Hardtail in stock at a reasonable price so I ordered one, the 13100BK version. It arrived today and I LOVE the overall look though I would have preferred the silver blade version which the shop was out of. The style is quite reminiscent of the Buck 110 to my eyes but with frosted silver color anodized aluminum ends rather than the brass of the classic Buck 110. Also the Benchmade HD version has an Axis lock rather than the old Buck spine lock, a big improvement in my opinion. Aesthetically I feel that the Hardtail is one of the best looking knives Benchmade has designed. Glad that I found one. I wish that Benchmade would return it to production without the HD name if they are discontinuing all HD knife production as I have read here.

So you're the one who got that 13100. I thought about it but I decided that I wouldn't carry it. I am thinking about springing for a 13150 though. However, the full size is one of my favorite knife designs of all time.

I did a search and others have mentioned the dealer I got it from in posts, Knifeworks in Louisiana. Looks like I got the last plain edge but they still list combo edge versions in stock.
