BM HK 14205 scales.... G10 Help!

Hi I live in the UK and have 2 BM HK 14205s with black G10 scales....My favourite favourite folder of the last couple of years (Whoohoo:D) but I had always wished they could've had green or brown scales instead of black :grumpy:

Well today I notice BM did a variant of the 14205 with both those colours :victorious: (BM HK 14250-70X) so my question is......

How do I get hold of a couple of sets of the Foliage green (or Coyote brown- either colour is far preferable to black) G10 scales?????
I would dearly love to re clothe my 14205s, it would practically be a dream come true for me.


Any suggestions guys? Can I just order replacement scales from BM or anywhere else? Being on the other side of the pond will they ship out?


Any one got one (or two) of these variants that they want to re dress in black G10? One of my 14205s is a spare and kept pristine (so the scales will be) the other is in use.

Seriously, I would love to get hold of these new coloured scales so any help will be appreciated.

BM replaces scales, but doesn't sell them outright. In other words, they would replace your black scales w/ blk scales only, cost $25 each, $50 per pair.

The 14205-701 has the green scales, I THINK the tan is -901 tho I may be wrong. They show up for sale occasionally, I would suggest you pick one up. Green/tan scales BTW are a bit thicker than the std blk. Depending on your blade configs you might want to swap, sell the unwanted half. I swapped a satin PE -205 blade into a green handle for a guy a few months ago.
 
It would probably be easier to have custom scales made. That or just keep your eyes open for one to pop up for sale.
