This annoys me. I just got into Benchmades and I am finding it so much harder to find good deals on these knives compared to other manufacturers. Most knives I can find online at around 40% off MSRP but BM are much harder to find deals like that. I can still find good deals sometimes, some sites say email us for price and it is usually around 65% MSRP. Anyone know other places to get Benchmades at good prices? I was thinking gun shows maybe but I have never been to one.

Wait a second, 40% off MSRP is 60%, which is only 5% difference than 65% MSRP. For 5% difference I'd worry more about the quality of the product itself.

I am not talking about the 5% difference in price, I am saying that it is harder to find this price on the net for Benchmades than for other manufacturers.

All the usual places will price them the same as before, you just have to enter a coupon or call like you said.

I've used them all for Benchmade and other purchases recently and have been great.

I've noticed higher prices on several models I've been watching since early this year, particularly at smaller, web-only stores. One place had a Mini Bone Collector for around $80 months ago, and now it's around $100. At others, I've seen Griptilians and Presidios with commensurately higher prices.

So my usual go-to places for deals are not longer that.

Could be just supply and demand. But I think there has been some ongoing issue with regard to Benchmade pricing, as evidenced by sites that say "click for our low price."

Benchmade requires an Minimum Advertised Price in order to be a dealer in good standing. So most dealers ask you to call, email..... to find out if they may have a better price. Benchmade is making it even more difficult for small businesses remain dealers so in 2011 I believe your choices of dealers will be smaller.

I'll give a +1 on KnifeWorks. Roger and crew stand behind their products, frequently do LE Benchmade runs and have both a large selection and good discounts.
