  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Just bought a new 812 that has 154cm steel. Thought the discontinued 812 only came in ATS-34 and M2. Is this an anomaly, a transition model or? Is this one I should leave NIB or use?
Thanks,
Rich

Just got an answer from Travis at Benchmade.
According to him it is a transition model, "only a handful were made" and "since thousands were made in ATS-34 and only a few in 154cm" it should, down the road be considered "rare". Damn, since I wanted a user, I guess I'll have to buy another. Sometimes lifes burdens are just too much to bear LOL.
