bm mini ambush

i ordered a bm mini ambush from knifecenter since the price on it was so nice and it looked like a nice little folder. does anyone know what im actually in store for? anyone have one of these???

and what about the full sized ambush? any thoughts on that??


how does the ambush compare to the presidio??


and this is kinda off topic, but i ordered the knife last friday night and opted for 2 day shipping, when do you guys think ill get it??

It's an excellent little knife. It is not the presidio, not even in the same class. The Presidio is aluminum scaled with Axis lock and 154cm steel. It is a premium knife. The Mini Ambush is more of an entry level folder, with a good locking system and good steel. Benchmade does a good heat treat on their AUS8, but it does not have the edge retention of the 154cm. You will like the knife, I have given many as gifts.

You will be surprised by the quality of the Mini Ambush. No, I take that back. I am never surprised by the quality of any Benchmade product. I feel that the AUS8 blade steel does not get the respect it deserves. Great knife at a great price.
