Hey guys I picked up a mini barrage a few weeks ago and all in all I love it... The axis is of course fantastic and the spring assist is honestly the best i have ever felt. It actually pushes the entire way from when it leaves the handle till it locks into place unlike the kershaws and other spring assists that stop pushing at about 135 degrees from the handle. The handle is great, I like it much better than my griptillian. Instead of having that hollow feel it is much more solid and the finger grooves fit my hand very well. The 154 cm drop point blade is one of my favorite designs. It has a very larde drop to it which some may not like but I am a fan of it. The edge has a real nice even grind to it and it has a little more broad angle than say my griptillian which makes it a nice long lasting utility edge. So far it still shaves hair after medium use for 3 weeks. The rear bar the the bottom of the blade hits and rests on while open is very beefy, beefier than most. The reversible clip is always nice and I do like the shape of it. Ok on to the bad... There is one thing that really bothers me about this blade and Im hoping someone here will have some insight or experience with it. This knife does not have an adjustable pivot point! As a result there is a significant amount of side to side play. Its really not huge but it bothers me very much knowing that some of my cheap blades lock up like a vault and my new benchmade has all kinds of play. Does anyone know of any remedy for this play?? And for other owners of this knife what are your guys' opinions? I know this is a pretty new blade so there may not be many people that own it but please let me know what you think.
