Hi again everyone, I have but one quick question for you all. If you could buy a Kershaw Blur S30V for $55 + $5 shipping, or a BM mini grip for $57, which one would you choose?? I was set on getting the Blur, but now saw the mini grip pop up for about the same price and I can't decide!! Any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Both great knives. If you have large hands I say blur for sure. I have medium at best hands ant the mini grip feels small to me. Barely a three finger grip.

I agree with dk_fosg8. The mini grip is just too small for me, the Blur is an awesome knife.

I have small hands, I don't like the Mini-Grip so much. The handle is too short and fat, IMO. If it fits well in your hand, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Both are great knives. As others have alluded to, there is a considerable difference in size between the two though. The full-size Griptilian and Blur are comparable in size.

If you want a knife that fills the hand a bit better and has a more robust feel, the Blur would be a better fit. If you want a small, fairly compact knife (a bit easier to carry), the Mini Grip would be a better fit. Both are very functional blades, and both have a good "fun" factor. The assisted-opening mechanism on the Blur has the best feel of all the assisted-openers I've handled. The Axis lock on the Mini-Grip is also pretty addictive to play with.

Here's a shot that has both a Mini-Grip, Blur, and Large-Grip:

Go with the Blur! Great ergos, slightly larger size but the aluminum handles keep the weight down. It cuts great and the Speedsafe is outstanding on this model.
