BM: Modified Sheepsfoot or Drop Point

Any views from you guys on whether you think the Modified Sheepsfoot or Drop Point is a better blade design for the Benchmade Griptilian?

Originally thought the Modified Sheepsfoot looked kinda weird, but its growing on me ... how does it perform?

Personally, I prefer pointy blades. I find sheepsfoot and tanto designs to be less versatile than drop point or clip point blades.

My advice would be to go for the drop point Griptillian

I chose the sheepsfoot because I prefer the opening hole to a thumb stud. The blade is very functional with an exceptionally strong tip!

I have both and love both. Either way you cant go wrong.

I have a sheepsfoot minigrip 555. Very nice....but I'd prefer a thumbstud to the oval hole.
