I am new to knife collecting...knives have gone long way since the 1980s... So far I pick up a couple of Emerson CQCs and a Benchmade mini-skirmish. My question: Is there any way to lesson the tension on the monolock? It's easy to open the knife, but when it is in th elock position, it's difficult to un-lock. I have to use two hands to accomplish such feats.. any help is appreciated.

If you bought them new they will be stiff and need a break in period. Just open and close the knife a couple times a day and it will ease up. (well thats what happened with mine). Hope this helps, John
