I really dislike BM. Really, I do. To me, their folders are ho-hum, blah, nothing stirs the soul. And don't get me started on their rediculous warranty - can't disassemble the knife to clean/maintain it. What rubbish.

But.....

I just received a Nimravus and 2 Cubs in M2, all plain edge. I've been using the Nim at home around the house to do all my cutting[My Mach-1 feels neglected], and I have to say, this is one nice knife. I am also quite impressed with the M2 steel. I find it much better than BMs ATS-34/154CM.

All three came shaving sharp, even grind lines, must have been a good day for the inspection department.

But when is BM gonna wake up and have someone like Blade-Tech make them a sheath? I mean, come on! The ante was upped by Camillus with their Cuda CQB-1 and 2. The only thing that kept me from getting them was the lack of a steel choice.

Anyway, I like Allen E's fixed blade design. It has nice lines and is completely functional to boot. I wish HE would make more fixed blades, his folders are getting old, IMHO.

Now, where can I find a shoulder rig for the cub...............?

Oh, BTW, I got them from Roger at Bayou LaFourche. Top notch service, and the best prices too. I highly recommend him.

Hey Matt..

First off,,got the MO,,thanks...
Hang in there...

I have sheaths available for both the Cub and full size Nim...

A shoulder rig for the Cub,,may I suggest a Bladerigger harness..Pretty good for under a jacket, and built with quality...

If you are interested in a sheath for either I'll throw in a Strong Arm Draw kit for the Bladerigger harness..

Hey Eric,
Glad you got the MO. I was just curious because USPS has been kinda messed up since 9/11/01, you know.

Well, the reason I ordered the G-Clips is I'm gonna try and modify the factory sheath to a high ride configuration using your G-Clips.;)

If it doesn't work out, I'll be in touch, for sure.

Thanks, Eric.

Hey Matt...

Cool....

Well that shouldn't be a problem to do..
The only thing that would worry me is the retention...

Retension on Benchmade sheaths is notorious for a sloppy fit...
They just aren't made to be used without a strap..:(

Drop me a note anytime..

Yeah, I know.

I'm gomnna try to keep the strap in place. I think I figured out how to do it. I'll e-mail ya pics when I'm done.
