My choice would be the Nimravus. It is a great knife. Feels good in the hand and sharpens easily. Holds an edge well to.

Another vote for the Nimravus. The only problem is the sheath it comes with--it dulls the blade when you sheath and unsheath the blade.

I'm very pleased with my Nimravus combo edge. It's got a great feel. I also have the old sheath, which I agree with the others that it's better.

Scouter27,
I think your comparison is somewhat incorrect. If you are comparing with Böker Escort - the BM Model 145 Nimravus Cub would be much more adequate counterpart in size, weight and concealability.
In my opinion BM Nimravus Cub is by far more comfortable and secure to hold and easy to use. On the other hand, Böker Escort (I do not have this one but in fact this is a budget priced version of Böker - Bud Nealy Specialist which I do have) has better MCS (Multy Carry System) sheath for concealed carry.
For your choice all depends on knife intended use - as usually at least.

You know, I once asked a similar question, though not about Boker escort, BM Nimravus or Timberline Aviator. Aviator, with its ATS34, is a great sidekick but I still went for the Benchmade. I belief those who own the BM can agree with me.

Tennessee,
My Timberline Aviator has 440C but not ATS-34 blade, maybe you have later model...
But the blade steel wouldn't be an issue here, Aviator has chisel ground tanto point blade and it can be quite hard to use well for wide range of precise cutting chores. It could be very nice outdoors and survival knife if it would have flat ground drop point blade, something like Fällkniven F-1.
