Just remembered these little BM lockbacks I liked at BLADE. Only issue is that I cannot remember if it was the Large or Small one I liked. Does anyone have some pics showing both the large & small in-hand?

Thanks.

Sorry, no pics. Only a question.

I was looking at those online and was not understanding "springless lockback". Since you handled them, could you explain how that works?

knarfeng, the "spring" is a cut-out on each of the liners. A lot like a liner lock "bar" is cut out of the liner, only it's cut on the top of the liner. (get it??) (lol, I could try to work in the word liner a couple more times!)

Halfneck, I don't have pics of mine, but -

The Small is SMALL. Like the smallest Benchmade folder I have, and I've got a couple dozen. It's significantly smaller than a mini-grip. The Large is middling - an almost Endura sized blade, with a handle half an inch longer than the mini-grip.

The Small feels very nice, for something the size of a small Schrade stockman. The Large fits very nicely in my hand as a user.

I'd be pretty surprised the Large isn't the one you're remembering, unless you memory is of a notably tiny knife by tactical knife company standards.

Thanks for the response. I was wanting to say it was the smaller of the 2, but your description makes it sound like it was the larger version.

Oh well, it's not like I have to get it right now because I don't have a pocket knife LOL. Looks like I'm going to have to find some place that has them both so I can check them out.
