BM pivot washer?

Greetings,

Just bought a new 722. Got it home and found it has the nylon pivot washers. Any idea if BM would replace with bronze. I just feel that for an EDC any knife will have longer smoothness with bronze washers. Comments?

send it in and they should replace them for you.

As far as I know, they use bronze on all their knives now. You knife may have been "in stock" for a while. I wouldn't view this as a big issue. They used synthetic washers for years with no reported probs.
