I have a quick question about either of the BM Presidios in regards to the clip and the machined aluminum scales. How well do your pockets hold up to the knife being removed and replaced? How easy is it to pull the knife out of your pocket? It looks like the angle of the cuts made into the handle scale would cause a lot of wear at the top of your pocket, if you carry it clipped, and might make it difficult to pull out or clip back onto your pocket. Any thoughts or comments. Thanks.

I have both. It is not that hard to pull out of the pocket. I don't notice that it is much harder then any other knife.
Now, on the pocket ware, that is a whole other story. It will eat your pockets on cloth pants. It dose not affect jeans or or ripstop material. But just plain cloth, it will shred them over time.

Those cuts on the scales will eat the pocket edges. One thing you can do is loosen the clip tension just a bit and you can smooth the cuts down just a bit where they meet the clip. Even jeans pockets are not imune to getting eaten up but to be fair I get some wear on all of my jeans pickets over time. Some of it is just normal wear and tear but any clipped knife seems to add to it. The 520/525 is a great knife. So if you are thinking about getting either then go for it.
