Today I picked up a new BM 910 Stryker at a local dealer for $50. It has a combo edge, BK1 coated M2 blade. I've not been a big fan of combo edges, but the price sure was right. It must have been discounted so much due to the fact that the 910M2 has been discontinued for over two years. I was quite surprised to see one on the shelf and didn't have to think twice about buying it. The first thing that stuck me about it is how light it is due to the titanium liners. It has a smooth action and a rock solid lockup. Now I need to get around to some cutting!

If you don't like it the combo edge, I bet you wouldn't have to wait long to trade it for something you did like, or sell it and buy something.

I think I can live with it. It looks like it could cut the heck out of some rope.

When sharp, the M2 is magic...but you better have a rabbit in your hat if it gets too dull. Hit her on the white spyderco stones often and it won't be a problem.
