I believe the handles are aluminum, and the blade length is just over 4" for the full sized spike- they did make 2 sizes. Can't remember if it is tip up or down though. The knife was notorious for a very thin, fine tip. Kind of like an Xacto knife on steroids.

Aluminum handle, tip down I think. Designed gby Phil Bogusweski as a back up weapon. Real stabby and a fine knife. Also was released in auto. I picked one up at a show some years back. Got it for $100 new. I liked it...

Tip down, aluminum handles. The blade length were 3.25, and 4.25, I believe. I always thought of it as a folding boot knife. Steven Dick, and FK magazine gave it a favorable review. I remember it was popular with Fishermen especially.

HTH:)!!!

Just pulled mine out of storage and measured it: just under 4 1/8" blade, 9 1/4" overall. Yes, tip-down, beautiful black clip, black aluminum handle. A razor blade with a point. Bayou Lafourche had been clearing out old stock a while back and I got this one new for $65.

wow i lucked out i have been looking for a +4" folder, i THOUGHT it was a +4 but wasnt sure, got this one in like new condition, but no box, $55 including shipping, combo edge blade, silver finish on blade, black handles!! - oh well, can live w/out box - i think i'm gonna like it should be here by friday

thanks for the info, i did a search and no info like i needed

i like these old BM's, i now have a leopard 625S, a 975SBT, and an old AFCK w/the black butterfly and now the spike -
