Does anybody have any experience with this knife. How does the m2 perform? Does the tanto style still allow good utility use?I've never owned a non-axis bm,so, what are your thoughts on it's locking system?(liner) Please share any other info that you think would be helpful.

Sorry! I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum and I dont know how to remove/move it. I'm new to the site, but I still feel like an idiot.

Thanks :)

well i have had 3-4 strykers thru the yrs, so i'll take a shot,

M2 is great steel, a little harder to sharpen imho than some but great edge retention.

it works great for utility.

i've rarely heard of probs with BM liner locks, does happen sometimes though.

all in all a good knife, i like the CQC7 or SOCFK better for a tanto knife though.

I dislike all tool steel even it's hard but I never use this feature, but it hard to resharpen and easy to get oxide.

i prefer the M2 myself but most folks would never know the diff imho, it is a little harder to sharpen (and dull too ) but not that big of a deal, nothing wrong with 154CM.

IIRC all M2 knives from BM are coated, which i am not nutz about, 1 reason i dont own very many M2 knives, ditto for D2 IIRC, all coated (from BM anyway) but again, no9thing wrong with ATS34 or 154CM.

Thanks, I probably won't get a stryker, I've found other knives that suit me better.

You might consider a CQC7B if you like tanto, or CQC7A if you like the spearpoint (and if you can find one).
