I like this knife a lot. I have used it for all kinds of household projects - digging up dandelions and thistles, cutting small amounts of carpet, opening cardboard boxes, whittling wood once or twice, cutting packing tape, etc. Since I use different knives for different tasks, I can't really make a fair comparison on edge-holding. When the edge does need touching up, I just use a DMT pocket sharpener and it works fine.
I normally don't care for finger grooves, since they often don't fit my hands. This knife is an exception, and it fits my hands as well as can be expected from something so small and compact. This will differ from person to person, so YMMV. The thumb ramp helps lengthen the effective size of the handle and provide control. I love the material on the handle. It is very coarse as described previously, but IMO it works well with sweaty hands and is real comfortable even with extended use.
The sheath on mine is fine. The knife snaps in very crisply and is held securely by extensions on the sheath that go through the hole in the handle behind the blade. It stays in firmly and requires some effort to remove. I carry it in my pocket, rather than around my neck.
For me, the only downside is that this knife is a bit over-priced for the things that I use it for. However, I'm willing to pay for the ability to carry a fixed blade as easily as a folder. In this category of knife, I've also got my eye on the Fallkniven WM1 and the TOPS Prairie Fox.
