Okay, early last December my dad ordered a BM-42 for me from CutleryShoppe.com for my x-mas present. After a month and a half wait, I just couldn't stand to wait any longer so I contacted Mike Payne. He got me the balisong fast, in under a week. I came home from school today to see the package sitting on the table. Immediately I opened it up and took the knife out. One word... WOW!!!
The thing is light. I'm used to the light weight though, since my only balisong to flip was my balisong comb with the flimsy handles. The thing flips so smoothly without any effort. Finger twirls are a breeze and latch drops are lightning fast. I'm having a little trouble adjusting to aerials, mostly because I'm afraid of getting a hole in my palm. The sheath is okay, but it is obviously too small. All in all, this thing was worth every penny of my dad's money. If you don't have one... get one!
Edit:I forgot the name! I named it Luca, after Luca Brasi from The Godfather.
