The UPS tracking page said it was delivered.
Side door, at 10:30AM.
It was 12 and it wasn't there.
I begin a huge easter egg-like hunt around the house to see if they put it elsewhere.
It was nowhere.
I called UPS, they said to call back later.
I went to the basement and continued to hack away at the lack of my 42, when my dog starts barking.
I run upstairs.
AND THE PACKAGE IS AT THE DOOR!
With my half-latchless 42 in hand, I cut off the tape to find a flag saying "Don't Tread On Me" with a picture of a rattle snake, and an accompanying explanation of it. Cool stuff! My Silent Bob figure is holding it now, standing proud.
Then I see the magical, magical blue box. I open if from the labeled end, prepare myself, and remove the balisong from the sheath.
SWEETNESS!
The coating is great, nice and grippy, but not too grippy. The blade looks really powerful. All the curves are so smooth. Flips great out of the box too! I had to lube the last one I got (43).
As others have mentioned, it is a bit tip-heavy, but not enough to mess you up (although I am slightly paranoid of cutting myself, since it's so sharp
).
I give the knife a 10 and the service a 10 as well!
