Inspired by Jerry Busse and his "Flying" customs, I had a friend put some wicked, Busse-like serrations on my Skirmish.

Thanks to Jerry for both the inspiration and permission to post :D :D

And to the talented pimper who did the fine work!

They look fantastic!! Very even. Plus, you've got a very usable edge for whittling and fine cutting near the handle.

Hello,

Nice to see folks who, like me, belong to that minority of the belief that the serrations should be up front/belly portion of a knife. I understand even Doug Ritter in a recent post for his upcoming design originally wanted it so. Jeff Randall also on Tac. Knives also shared a similar sentiment some issues back.

I REALLY can't understant why almost all manufacturers put them at the back/choil area. Is cutting rope the most important task your knife will be doing? You take away the area of greatest control or leverage and devote it exclusively to one single task, i.e. - rope or rough material cutting.

Potterma,

That is one awesome knife you have there! If you could spare the time and effort, I'd really appreciate a nice sexy, full shot for a screen saver! My thanks in advance!

I normally don't like serrations, but up front and that style look bad ass. That's where serrations should be on a knife anyway. Nice.

Who is you're friend? Is he will to do this for others?

From a defensive knife standpoint, that seems outstanding. Probably a very agressive cutter.

Nice work, really compliments and improves the knife.
