BM722s making clicking sounds

Hi, I just recently purchased this knife and love it. But, ever since the first day I've owned it, it has been making a slighty-audible clicking sound just before the blade is opened and closed at the same position.

Im asking because the model I bought in the store was the last one and was a floor model (which I assume was handled frequently by other customers). At the time, I didn't notice this just before I bought it (it's a loud store).

Other than this small clicking noise it makes, there's nothing wrong with the knife. There is no play in the blade when in the locked position, there's no rattling parts. Is this sound normal? Do other owners of bm722's experience this same clicking noise?

Howdy Howdy,

Uh oh...the potentially self destructive...and possibly hazardes if not corrected axis 'click'. Damage has most likely already occurred...you are lucky you or your loved ones have not been injured yet. Stop whatever else you may be doing right now and secure your defective blade in a box to be sent to me. I've been collecting all such evidence for a future class action suit. I'll email you my addy so you can put your bm with the others at no charge to you...only postage of course. I will send you notarized receipt once your bm has reached it's destination.

If the above doesn't sound quite right....try a bit of spray on dry lube...one of my axis's had a similar, perhaps not quite as noticeable 'clik' on cycling...and that did the trick for me.

Good luck..I believe you'll find it to be a fine blade...store demo or not. And I hope you find bf as informative and friendly as I have.

Thanks guys, the bm722 is a beautiful knife and love it so far. Getting a MT mini socom soon as well!
