BMC Handy Twine Knife

Well, I've seen it now.

It's an interesting concept, but I don't like how far towards the finger it appears to curve... I've be afraid of cutting myself

The metal ring would also get annoying after heavy use. I'd make it bigger with a rubber cover over the inside, so it wouldn't give you blisters.

Those are such old news. :p They used to be a lot more commonly used, but are really essentially an "industrial" knife. Not as many folk use twine to tie packages or bale things these days. Still handy for some, but a very specialized knife.

That would be handy if you were craftsman of some sort, keeping your hands free while having blade handy.

I used to use that knife in the woods, hunting ferns. (Sneaky devils!)

Sold the ferns to local florists.
