So I’m here at a pawnshop believe it or not and they have a knife fixed blade and a custom appears to be Kydex or plastic sheath.

I am looked at the knife really nice knife did not take any pictures of it probably 4 inch blade so it has a stamping on it that I looked up and it turns out it’s made by BMH knives.

I cannot find any information about BMH knives even off their website

I am finding one knife on the website and it’s a cleaver for 350 so my concern is how do I find information because every time I type in something to Google it comes up with Twitter or Facebook or a website that has really no information on it except to subscribe I don’t know what to do does anybody here know anything about BMH knives? They’re looking for $300 for this knife now I will tell you what it says on the plaque that it’s with it

It says platinum edition
underneath tgat says KCCO d2 1of 1
I think it was a gift Because on the back he wrote something about a good time and thank you etc.
I don’t know what the numbers but d2 means but it signed by the guy Blake who I imagine is the producer of that knife but I don’t know his last name and I can’t find any information out about this knife and I want to buy it but not for What they’re asking for it

Well I did find out his name is Blake Hernandez and I emailed him direct but any other “non biased” information would be welcome

Btw the non biased part was my stab at humor ... sue me I’m old

Interesting! Blake and I go way back to when we both just started out on Instagram. Definitely a nice guy but I believe he only uses his Instagram for contact info and sales unless his website shows stock or is hosting a raffle. However a while ago I don't really know the personal information but he deleted everything off of his Instagram and restarted it. Then I think he did it again shortly after. Not sure what's been going on lately but definitely reach out to him I'm sure he will respond with info on the knife!

D2 is the steel he used for that specific knife. He uses that a lot as well as O1 tool steel. It's good stuff!

Edit: I forgot links lol so here is his Instagram and here is his website

Ok well it’s may have been a jump to do it and the finds came from a current project but for 250 I think I came out on top... I hope so at least

My new knife is made by a local artist blake hernandez of BMH knives and I found this one at a pawn shop

Ok I got to figure out how to link to Flickr or whatever cause this page say images too large for server to load

Be back later for update with images

I just felt sorry for those poor, neglected punctuation marks.

The images are too big. You'll have to either resize them or use a third party image host, I like imgbb, and insert them via a direct link.

Yup.. trying to get into my flkr acct... Keeps winking me to Yahoo and then to losing network connection for some reason so I can’t even get into my own Flickr account. I wonder why they’re too large when I’m taking pictures of the same camera and loading them from the same camera as all my other images? I’ll figure it out I’m sorry for the waste of bandwidth

471D3F3C-C687-4044-8515-CAF2837E6F1F.jpeg Horrible small kB. The image quality sucks. Doesn’t do this knife justice at all. I’m having a helluva time working with Flickr.
This is a New try sending my image as an email, choosing how many bytes to use as small medium large etc to myself, deleting original, opening mail and saving image from the mail ...going to try medium for next image. Top one is 58.8 kb. And trying to use punctuation where I can lol!03694FD9-66BE-43AF-9A05-A5D17F4690B0.jpegyhis one is 101kb but still seems blurry to me

It’s weird cause I use my iPhone for the the images in my posts and never received the error that they were too big for the server to proccess. Last images is 379kb and at 500+kB

I really need to learn Flickr better

If anyone had any info... much appreciated.. still waiting on a reply from the creator, owner, producer of this knife. It’s nice, no regrets. The scales are carbon fiber/ g-10/ and wood inlay but I’m not sure the wood. Blade is d2. I typed in BMH on YouTube and flipinbean did a vid of one of these... image doesn’t show it but there is some heavy artistic “cuts” along the upper parts and some waviness in the spine at the handle
Images later if those and hopefully sharper.

Question is ...will I use it. What good is unused knife, right? Uh well no I’m not going to use it...maybe we’ll see

It would be so kewl if it was 03/15/15, that would mean with THE NOTE written on back it was made within the first week or so he was a business and the content of the note would almost validate it was one of the first ones .. but alas not info yet

.. so although maybe not one of his first out the door ..it’s was maybe sold/gifted five months into his venture as an llc...

yes I realize he probably had hundreds of knives he made under his belt by that time before he opened a company but I’m pleased to know that this is one of his firsts as BMH knives

Just an update
I found him on instagram a few says ago and we’ve messaged. He Asked me if got it in a trade or where I picked it up at... he said he hasn’t seen that one design is a while. I was hesitant to tell him one of his awesome creation was found in a pawn shop.. I would think anyone who had this knife would know you sell this as a show or individual sell to a collector... not a pawn shop.... so I’m hesitant to really post this knife anymore cause if someone’s pawned it, maybe just maybe it wasn’t theirs to pawn you know?

I told him what I paid and he was like wow that’s an awesome deal it is a one off knife custom and to hang onto it... he said if I did sell it not to take less than 1000.00

(I bought it for 200 and some change!)
