Got a Mini Ritter grip a while back to check out the M390 steel. My first M390.
It took a while to warm up to it. The factory grind was a bit steep, so it didn't slice the way I liked.
Solved the problem by reprofiling the edge with my Edge Pro. By the way this steel is h a r d to reprofile.
Now that it's done, wow, I get a super sharp edge, slices wicked, and stays that way a decent amount of time.
Good steel!

Sup brother. Good to see ya.

I still have yet to try anything in M390. Still loving on the M4 and ZDP. :)

I’ve used M390 for quite some time now on different BM models and it’s great.. Probably one of the best, well-rounded, folder stainless steels on the market today. With the proper heat treat, it will hold it’s edge longer over some other common BM steels, with zero moisture maintenance. I like low maintenance :)

Here’s a vid showing how B/U works their PM process:

My experience with BM and Bradford's M390 is just about the same as P_M's. It's pretty close to the top of my SS list now. I get really good results from either a stone or strops, the edge lasts quite a while in my limited warehouse and home use, there haven't been any instances of edge damage (chipping) even on cardboard, and I've had zero issues with corrosion so far.
