I recently purchased two extra Spyderco Endura G-10 knives but one of the them,it seems that there is some kind of weird blue stain on the G-10. I tried to remove with some detergent and a brush which did nothing at all. Is there any thing else that can be done.

Not trying to be a jerk at all but if it were me I would just use it... one day in my pocket at work and it will be dirty anyway.

these are'nt inexpensive --looks like an ink stain which depending on ink type might penetrate. it would,nt bother myself for a user but if a safe queen send it back . resale as a mint knife later on may mean you would have to discount it .

Is it just me of does the lock... tab? I guess, where you push down to unlock, does it look too low to anyone else?

Buy a bottle for RIT dye and make the G-10 black.
Based on your feelings towards the Sharpmaker and Native in your other thread, seems like every slight imprefection is something to behold...

Yea , that one missed the 'ol final F&F check which would bother me far more than a little stain.

I would send the knife back; the lock doesn't look right.

I just looked at it and the lockup is nice and solid.Since this is not my user g-10 endura and an extra for in case of loss,I'm more concerned with the stain. Is your concern, the lockbar at the boyd dent that is lower than the liner.I closed that knife and it's flush with the liners.
