Now where's the big wheel to attach them to? Gotta get my yard aerated sooner or later!

It was a feeble attempt at trying to take over Bruise's job. Didn't work. His job is safe. :D

The position of village idiot doesn't pay much. You're probably making more plucking chickens.

Nice set of custom, handmade toothpicks though.

How long are the bo shuriken? weight? What's the finish? Steel? Thickness?

About 8'' long by .43 or so thick?

Does he make caltrops too? :p ;) :D

I have actually seen caltrops for sale in a catalog. They had a basic model that looked like two pieces of thin rebar welded together, and a deluxe model that was hollow steel tubing, cut at an angle on the ends like a giant hypo needle, so it would let air out of tires faster. The basic model was expensive, the deluxe was exorbitant.

I don't recall the name of the catalog, but it was from one of those outfits that cater to the seriously paranoid, the James Bond wannabees, and people like us. ;) They offered all sorts of "exotic" ammo for shotguns, such as flechettes, powdered steel, pepperspray, flres and stuff. Lots of 'Anarchist's Cookbook" type of literature, booby-traps, surveillance and surveillance-detection devices. It was the kind of catalog you migt suspect buying from would put you on somebody's "watch" list.

I like the "bo shuriken"! I'm wondering if I could get some "bow shuriken", or even "crossbow shuriken"? My arm just isn't what it used to be. :(

Hokay:

Approx. 8 inches OAL. Weight, haven't measured, but I'd guess it at 1/3 to 1/2 pound. Metal is wrought iron, thickness is 1/2inch. Finish is brushed steel, then sprayed with 2 coats of matte black Rust-oleum.

I have dropped tested these on cement, from a height of 8 feet, dropped point first. The cement always loses. They are extremely robust throwers, and also make a nasty fist-load or hand-held defense tool (think "big kubotan"). I would recommend these for strong or accomplished throwers, preferrably stong AND accomplished throwers.

I may take orders on these in the near future, or on similar designs. I don't keep them in stock, but make then as orders come in. A dozen takes about two months to do right. I prefer to sell only to MA practitioners and collectors, as I don't think kids or the avg. citizen need 2B running around with these monsters. Currently, I am producing these only for the Bujinkan folks, to their specs.

Woah! They must be bad! :D

Bo shuriken are pushed towards the target. They are not thrown and they dont spin. (much)
In that light, they dont seem too big now, do they ?
You use your body weight in motion to move them.
In my case, these little suckers may reach the speed of light.
