Boa, Liner lock?

I just got my multi-colored Boa, the other day, it's a beautiful knife, I like the recurve blade, and the handle feels very comfortable in my hand. I just had a question about the liner lock, it only engages the blade halfway, kinda like a frame lock. I also noticed there is only 1 liner. Just wandering if anyone has had a problem with the lock-up on this knife?

My wife has a Boa and hers locks up rock solid. The liner on hers locks up less than halfway over. As long as the blade doesn't wobble all around it shouldn't be a problem.

By the way - if the liner lock goes all the way over, that's a bad thing! It means that there's no room for the liner lock to wear any more and blade play can sometimes start to develop. If your knife locks up solid with the liner 1/2 way over or less, you got a good one.

Just wanted to add a question - your Boa only has one liner? When did they stop making them with 2?

Sorry!:footinmou

I was thinking about my CRKT Crawford/Kasper I got the same day.
but the Crawford liner goes into the middle of the blade. Just wanderind if the Boa liner might slip of the blade, since its only halfway engaged?

at first mines had some lock up problems but after i broke in the lock it locks up fine now
