Today I took delivery of a Kershaw Onion 1580MCST CPM440V camo Boa. It was used but advertised as "mint", and it is indeed mint. I see no evidence that it was ever used or carried. It came in the case that you see in the photo. Strictly for the sake of curiosity I was wondering if anyone knew whether that was the case that it would have come in when new. I haven't seen this type of case with any of my Kershaws.

I have a few of the 1580MC's and all are NIB. They came in the standard Kershaw box, no pouch included.

Hope this helps!

I bought one a few years ago from knifeworks, and it was shipped without a sheath. If that was something from Kershaw, I would think it would have a Kershaw logo on it somewhere. Looking through Kershaw's site, I didn't that one.

That was my thought as well. Nonetheless, I was glad that the seller shipped it that way, but unless I hear otherwise I won't feel like I have to pair the pouch with the knife.

BTW, I love this knife. I never hesitate to acquire a Kershaw.
