Anyone order from him recently? How long did it take to receive? I ordered a new cutting board 3 weeks ago and havent heard back since i paid. Just find it odd since he was so responsive to my questions before i placed the order and now multiple emails with no response, and no cutting board to be seen. No biggie if they are made to order and take some time, just odd to not hear back and I kinda thought these shipped quick.
 
I ordered one a couple years ago, same situation. I did the exact same thing you did (except on Knifeforums) and they told me exactly what I'll tell you :D
He is slow to respond to emails but he will and you'll get your board
 
Mine took just about a month, He has recently posted in another forum , that he is swamped with orders and is working 12 & 15 hr. days. I'd say just be patient, you won't be sorry when you get
the finished product.
 
Cool cool,thanks guys. I dont mind waiting for hand made quality stuff, i just like to know what the timetable is.
 
Dave's (Boardsmith) work is fantastic, it will be well worth the wait. Tis the season for gifting so I imagine he is insanely swamped. Trust me your patience will be rewarded.
 
the boards are made to order. Have no fear, he will deliver and the product will be awesome. He is crazy busy, but wont sacrifice quality just to get orders out the door. He is ethical, so no worries about getting duped.
 
I ordered my boardsmith around Christmas time 2 years ago and there was a longer wait due to it being his busy season. As others have already said he has posted on another forum stating he has received the most orders this year. It will be well worth the wait.
 
I just got mine today. Ordered it almost exactly a month ago. It's the holiday season, so he's likely getting swamped with orders.

That said, the board I got is awesome. Though, I'm not sure if I made a mistake or fantastic decision with the size I got. The thing is freaking massive. :D
 
Thanks for the replies guys. Still waiting here without replies to my emails, but Im happy to hear Im not the only one. It's been 3 months now, so hopefully I'll have a cutting board one of these days...
 
drop him another email i think he jsut revamped some things on his site. that or maybe email got dropped into a spam acc (i have had that happen to orders for me before)

Have no worries! I have two of his boards and I couldn't wait to get either board. Wouldn't trade them for anything -- great vendor & great products!!
