Bob Bailey Recon I Fighter

[Dexter Ewing]

Bob Bailey (stepson of Darrel Ralph) made this fixed blade fighter, dubbed Recon I. S60V steel, G-10 scales, and a hand rubbed finish. Kydex carry rig was fashioned by Bailey and includes a mini Tek-Lok. Unfortunately, I do not own this

but like the design and execution.

Nice blade profile and flat grind. I particularly like an exposed pommel on a fighter. Very good design.

We do both here in the shop Phil!
These are hollow ground on the big 14 in wheel now.
Most blades under 5.5 inches are.

This knife is 4.5 on the balde and 9.5 with the skull chrusher.
The handles have been upgraded to thong tubing to hold the scales on!
