Bob: Clips

Bob - I'm enjoying the Carnivour I bought at the Blade Show. Great design, real heavy duty feeling. Got a question about the clips on this model. Is the screw that holds it on the scale threaded into the G-10 or screwed into a threaded steel insert? I cannot see the screw through the steel liner. The reason why I ask is that the clip on my Carnivour has developed some side to side play and I'm afraid to tighten it and possibly damaging the threades (if it is indeed screwed into the G-10 directly). TIA for the help.

You should have no problem tighing your clip it is a 6-32 thread. We have stood on a knife and tried to pull a clip off with vise grips. We were only able to bend the clip
