Just received word that our very own and custom knife maker, Bob Doggett (aka "dogman"), has returned after a year long hiatus in "never-never land."

Word has it. . . .all he did was soak up the sun, chase chicks and drink beer. :p

I realize there's a lot of sun "where" he was!! But, Chicks & Beer - I find that hard to believe!!! WELCOME HOME BOB!!! I'm glad you made it back here safely!! After a little R&R, I guess you'll be back at the grinder? Looking firward to see what your next offering will be. BTW I've still got that NYC Special Folder in its' own display case - I'm very proud to have scored that one!! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us next!

It is nice to hera you are back and safe.
Until late last year, I had an ex-girlfriend having a lot of sun in Iraq ( and hearing a few shots here and there, too) as a volunteer and I know very well what it is to have someone in there, and back from there safe (happily), and it is very good to know another friend made it safely.
Plus, Bob even know how to make good knives! Lets see what he will come up with.

On the bright side, when I do make it back home, all you have to do is bring this thread BTTT.
