comments/thoughts on the crossada, like the one used in the JAK training videos ???

anyone know the price off-hand ??
blade length/style ?

thanks in advance.

You just missed one on Bladeart. It was going in the range of $900 +/- a few dollards either way. I believe the blade was about 11". Bob Dozier made it. That was the only one I can remember seeing for sale.

I have a Dozier Crossada, and love it! Paid around $600 for mine too.

Check out a Wendell Fox one too! Sweet!

Mineral Mountain Hatchet Works (Ted Frizzell) makes a tactical Integral Guard Fighter and though not technically a Crossada it has a lot of flavor of one of Keating's knives. Though no longer in production, custom pieces can be purchased for about $265. I just ordered one:

I just got a Crossada from Bob Dozier on Friday. Interestingly the price with shipping was around $465. No where near those higher prices. This is an incredible thruster. James Keathing certainly designed an incredible fighter. This ain't no SAK.

Anyone else have one of these? Opinions?

Dang! sounds like I missed out...the local B&M store up here just had one go for $400....now I REALLY wish I'd put it on hold...

$465?!?! You must be getting the other half of the bill soon. :)

Technical info: Bob uses A1 for this particular blade as per JAKs request. Same as he used on JAKs tanto model.

Nope Kin, that was the delivered price. Same knife as JAK's...only thing I noticed different when I watch the Crossada tape is that Jim's knife appears a bit wider than mine but I hear objects look bigger on camera. :)

I bought mine some years ago, and like it VERY much. So much so, I had a custom leather sheath made that fits the knife with the quillions attached. The Sheath was in fact from Commtech.

I heard from Keating that he has sold the comtech rights to cold steel , and that any new Dozier Crossadas are illegal . Anybody else know about this ?

oh...about 6 weeks ago. Interesting. With CS buying the design, I would imagine that my Dozier Crossada is gonna be a major collectible.:)
