This is a KNIFE! Just received a Dozier Buckhunter and is this some more knife. It is built like a tank. The handle slabs of titanium are the thickest I have ever seen on a folder. The blade of D-2 is .155 thick and a razor. the clip point gives the blade that classic bowie look. Opening this knife feels like it has power assist. Just a flick of the thumb and the blade shoots open and locks up with no play whatsoever. The double linerlock system takes care of that! Bronze washers don't hurt either! Finish on the handles isn't bb but a nice even gray color. Blade is satin ground. This is definately a workhorse of a knife. The feel of the handle and fit in the hand is excellent. Weight is close to 5 to 6 oz.? Don't know for sure but feels about like the LCC. Only thing I do not care for is the lack of a pocket clip. I have to carry in a sheath. Anybody know if Mr. Dozier will retrofit for a clip? Guess I will call and see. Anybody know of any good leather sheath makers. I know leather is old fashioned but I think good leather is hard to beat.

For a nice folding knife leather sheath go to Gary Graley's website. His work is in my opinion the best. Also, I have been wondering about the dozier...sounds like a great knife.

Dennis,
Go to Patricks web site at www.tripleaughtdesign.com and click on the custom knives. There is a web site www.Dozierknives.com but it does not show his newer models.
This is an awesome knife!
