I received this knife on Monday and have been astounded by it ever since. This is a heck of a knife. You can see it on Bob's site, which has been updated to show the new folders. The site is www.dozierknives.com
The knife looks larger than it actually is. Well it is pretty large. When you hold it it doesn't feel like as large a knife as it is. Yea, thats better. The blade is sharpened top and bottom so you have to be careful with closing, don't want to cut yourself. The handle is shaped to fit your hand comfortably with the blade tang providing a top and bottom guard. The titanium handles are a nice dark gray and some of the thickest pieces of ti I have seen on knife handles. Mine has two smaller grooves, one above and one below the larger groove and are anodized blue. There are 4 smaller dished out dots on each handle anodized gold. I can't post pictures but take my word, it looks super good. The blade is not a symmetrical grind, with the bottom edge wider. All in all I am well pleased with this knife. The Dozier tab-lock will keep the blade locked up tight and rock solid. That blade is a thick, .170, piece of D-2 that comes satin finished and razor sharp.
My only complaint is the lack of a pocket clip. In talking with Bob's wife Linda, who was a tremendous help, I found out that Bob is having clips made to his specs and will retrofit the folders I have with them.
I knew that Dozier Knives came in fixed blades, and had seen the smaller folding hunters, but I sure got a pleasant surprise when I found out about these FULL-SIZE folders! Needless to say I am one happy camper!

Excellent choice artsig. I was playing with that dagger at the recent NY show. His version of the Buck folding 110 is also one heck of a workhorse.

At the risk of asking the obvious (or maybe not) you do know that the blade lockup can be released and swing towards its opposite/ rear side, don' t you? It will stop at about a 45 degree angle. It was said that in this fashion it can be used as a strait razor for shaving!

Nakano,
sometimes the obvious will reach up and bite you if not careful! I did not know that, but tried it out right away. In a pinch I could stay clean shaven. Again, this is a heck of a knife. The handle really fits my hand with the thumb and forefinger falling naturally on the top and bottom guards integral with the blade. The more I open and close this knife the more I am fascinated with it. I am really eager to get a pocket clip fitted. The Buckhunter is also an awesome peice of work. The clip blade is handy for a number of tasks, and it has the same rock solid lockup. I believe I could almost be satisfied with these two knives and forget my others..........YEAH RIGHT! But I really am pleased with both of the Dozier folders and feel that I have acquired some well made knives. Thinking about a fixed blade know.
