You might want to try the Ranger(not the Ranger light) first. I have one, and it's awesome. Something about the bowie design, just doesn't jump out at me. The Ranger, however, is awesome.

I saw it at the last Custom Knife Show in NYC... I would have snatched it up, but I just didn't have the budget. Great knife, Great Knifemaker.
