Hey Friends... I picked up this Bob Ham(jigged)bone on the Bay a couple of weeks ago. I gotta say, for the price (1 1/2) this is a sweet little user. This is my first green bone - I've always wanted one... a 3" ATS blade, all stainless fittings, half-stop. Great size, a good spring, and an all in all joy to carry. He's got several fixed, and a few folders at his Bay Store, and he's making me a single saddlehorn, due in August. I saw his name here in the forums and just wanted to give him another "atta-boy"!

Gorgeous knife (I have the same one in stag)!

Yes, for the prices ($130-160ish) a great handmade. Nice fit/finish, dove-tailed bolsters, sharp, good geometries, lined lanyard hole, tight, half-stop, and what a snap!

What's not to like? I suppose if he sold here or elsewhere and made a larger name for himself and didn't sell on the lowly 'bay he could get more and be "legit".

But he is a great little secret that I got referred to word of mouth. Hoping he has continued success!

malextwo,

I even emailed Bob when I saw that one. I told him I thought that was a very special knife. Great grab and bet you enjoy it.
I have a few of his knives, here is one of them.....

I've been eyeing one of his fixed blades for a while, but I ain't tellin' which one, I might pull the trigger one it one of these days:D It certainly looks nice for the price, but I've never seen one in person. Has anyone got any close up pics of his blade grinds etc?

Hi Durwood,

Most of the listings have at least one about like this...

If you mean even closer, you might try emailing him and asking for a closeup. He has always responded quickly to me.

Just attempting to help here.

Bill

P.S.
If you meant a folder, here is one I have that might show a bit better...

Those are really knice knives. Great bone and especially the stag El Lobo. Slightly unusual blade shape on that one too.

Hey s-k,
Thanks a bunch...I'm pretty sure that coming from a guy who has so much great older stag, that is a nice complement.

Here is another Ham in stag...
