After looking around for a nice BOB I found the Maxpedition bag and then found a nice hawk carrier molle attachment made by them.

It's part number 1708F ('F' is for Foliage), fits the hawk perfectly and it is secure.

That's nice! Does the hawk move around in the carrier or does it hold it solidly? I may have to make one out of a one of my MOLLE pouches.

That dark strap is velcro, so you can make it as tight as you want.

Oh, my mistake. At first I thought it was basically just a pouch with no bottom, but now I can see in the first pic that it is more than that. I like that feature, I may have to get one now. Awesome!

dose it bind on the para cord wrap at all? my hawk is wrapped full length w/ para cord and thats a prob w/ the carry options i have tryed so far.

The piece that goes around the handle is adjustable, mine is adjusted so I can pull the para-cord hand through the looped material, which is velcro'd via the black strap goes around the outside of the material.

Snagging is minimal because of the material, it's slick and allows for an easy removal of the hawk. You might be able to form the bottom of the loop to be more open if you want to improve on it.

Even with a slightly loose wrap the hawk stays put because the hold down strap over the top is holding it firmly in place.

Thanks for letting us know about these....I have added it to the list of things that I will buy when the wife is in a good mood.:)

Bug Out Bag. Emergency supplies or sufficient kit to survive for a few days away from a vehicle/help/civilization, typically.
