Bob Kramer on CBS Sunday Morn.

Good for Bob and it should be good for all Knifemakers. They did a great job on the segment. Custom knives shown in a positive light. I'm sure it will be online soon.

As I mentioned in your other thread..
Bob Kramer, forging and etching Damascus, cut 1" rope, chopped 2 X 4, 90 degree bend and still shaved hair.
Would have missed it without your heads up, thanks again Todd !
Way cool but much too short, would have liked to have seen and heard more.
As Bobby said, good for Bob Kramer !!

Not good for just knifemakers but the entire custom knife community as a whole.
Great stuff. :thumbup::)

Of course, I should have said that, Kevin.
I probably shouldn't say this..
Take that, BRL ! :p :D

Thats really cool. I would have been caught totally off guard if I just saw that on TV. Good job Bob..

Was that a positive peice, or what?! Just great. And we could use more of it.

Cheers,

That IS cool and great for the world of knives in a time when there are those that want to restrict sales and carrying of knives.

What an enjoyable video. VERY well-made, too. A tribute to all of us!

Hurrah for Bob Kramer!

The two knives that Mr. Kramer started for the taping of this segment are now up for sale on that auction site. No doubt they will go for serious money and cause a lot of hand-wringing on various threads. I personally think the higher the better. The visibility for custom knives is great and a good indication that if makers can tap into a wider audience (or market), there is a high demand.

That was very cool! I love the big hammer - anyone know what the poundage is on that thing?

Just spoke with Bob today....we go back a ways.

In addition to all the other great stuff that he does to put a positive and constructive light on the knife community, Bob is also directing potential customers to other custom makers for requested work that he does not do...not a buck in it for him....just because it makes everyone happy.

Bob is a really good dood!:)

Best Regards,

just watched it, that was pretty cool! Seems like a real down to earth sort of guy, a great spokesman for knife makers as a whole, although I doubt he'd ever claim to be that.
