Picked one up over the weekend at my local dealer. When I first saw it I could hardly breathe! Didn't want to spend the money but I couldn't leave it behind. They only had 2 in stock, so I phoned another collector buddy and he had them put it aside cause he was out of town and picked his one up 3 days later.

I still can't believe I got this. I can't find anything on the Spyderco website about this knife and nobody here is talking about it???

I got this from a very reputable dealer. I have been working with them for 13 years. It's in one of the newer Spyderco boxes. Blade steel is VG10.

Can anyone tell me anything more about this knife? Is this a sprint run or a new release, or am I just very lucky? :D

There are a few threads out here about it. It was a limited run done a few months ago. I have one myself!!! It was a very nice addition to the Spyderco Lum Chinese family. We are all waiting on the new carbon fiber handled Chinese and the large Lum Chinese from Spyderco as well.

I may or may not get a ti or cf Lum if the funds are available when I come across them but when I saw this:
the large Lum Chinese.

I definitely got excited. :) Anyone have any pics of these different versions? Specs?

Edit: Found em, simple seach for Lum. :o Man I like that knife no matter how it's handled or what size it is.

Oops, I'm a dumb-a$$ Search.... hmmm, seams there has been alot of talk about it.

One more question though. How many were actually made. Different discussions put numbers at 400, 450 and 600. Anyone know for sure?
