Any stores carry customs? I see alot of Spydercos on Ebay but not originals. Also my budget won't allow over a thousand, any chance to get a custom under that?

On another note are there any custom makers making knifes similar to Lum's chinese folder design that would be more affordable?
 
Since Bob passed away you will have a vey hard time finding one of his knives for sale under $1000. Brad Southard makes some very good knives in a similar-ish style.
 
One of the first things that caught my eye on Lum's knives was the Lum symbol. Any other makers that use chinese/japanese character stamps on their knives?
 
I think Phil Hartsfield uses an asian "flavored" font in his makers stamp.

Actually, now that I think of it, there are lots of makers with similarish type symbols as their mark. Browsing required, of course.
