I was cleaning up some of my knives, and discovered I've been carrying my Spyderco and Benchmade Bob Lum colaborations a lot. I just love them, the broad thin blades are excellent cutters, the Spydies are super flat and pocket friendly, the BMs have very well thought out handles (the Onslaught is one of my most ergonomic folders).
The only thing I don't like is the gigantic clip on the Onslaught, and to make matters worse it's right side only (come on BM, if you use an ambi lock, drill three more holes to allow lefties to reposition the clip!). Other than that, they are perfect.
I use the small ZDP189 Chinese folder the most, it's small and thin but the blade cuts like there's no tomorrow. The steel stained a bit (it's hard to see in the pictures, it has a bit of a blue hue), but I've been using it on food for years and never tried to polish it (I like how it looks).
I wish I had some of his tantos. I don't usually like that blade shape, but Lum's version of the tanto appeals to me for some reason.
Here are some pics of mine. Post some pics of yours!
