I dont know if this has allready been answered but as the search is out I thought I'd post it up.

Is Spyderco going to produce two sizes of Lum? and if so will one of them have a sub 3" blade?

Even mor eimportant do the custom jobs come in left handed versions and also will the Spydie's?

Live Long & Prosper, so you can buy more knives :)

Bagman - With the Lum "Tanto", we will just make the one size. With the Lum "Chinese Folder", We plan at least one size for Y2K, two is possible. The smaller model is just about 3" in blade length from the hilt.

We're planning a rolling Lock for the model, so "lefties" will be must simpler and will probably be produced regularly.

Thanks Sal

It was the Chinese one I was on about.

An under 3" blade that I can use left handed

Is the lightweight Calypso Jnr going to before that one Sal ?? (another 3" left handed knife, I must have died and gone to heaven)

Bagman - yes, the Calypso jr should be out in the fall in time for Christmas. We expect the production proto in June.

I have been carrying the Micarta version daily for many months now and it by far my favorite small Spydie
